Rider: Seth Burgett

Seth is an awesome dude, and deserved an awesome build. When he reached out to us to help him customize his next Triathlon Rig, we knew this would be a fun one.

Beginning with a Specialized Shiv Pro Frameset we added Zipp 808 Firecrest Clinchers; Incredibly Fast, but also practical for Race-Day mishaps.

We selected a Shimano Dura-Ace 9070 Di2 TT 11 Speed Road Group, to allow Seth to ride in both the extensions and Bullhorns with total confidence and control of the shifting. We finished the Build with an S-Works Carbon Crankset. With a little ingenuity, patience, and medically diagnosed OCD, we cleaned up the cockpit of the Shiv so only one visible cable line runs into the frame. So pro.

Thanks to the Shiv’s integrated Fuelselage and Fuelcell, we were able to provide Seth with a fully functional self-supporting bike with spare bottles off of the Saddle rails with the help of X-Lab.

The Shiv is a favorite of ours, due the highly adjustable Seatpost and Cockpit. During the Fit, this allowed us to establish a comfortable, efficient, powerful position that Seth is able to ride in for 112 miles or more at a time.
